Sadia Latimer BSc (Hons) MSc PgD
I have 15 years of postgraduate experience in the National Health Service (NHS) across a wide variety of clinical settings at leading North West Hospitals, specialising in digestive health conditions since 2010.
My main areas of focus are Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and coeliac disease. I have undertaken specialist training at King’s College on the low FODMAP diet which is an effective treatment for functional bowel disorders like IBS. I have successfully run specialist dietetic led coeliac clinics, and functional bowel clinics in the NHS within both the hospital and community setting working alongside Gastroenterologists and GPs.
My extensive experience has provided me with an appreciation of how food impacts the bowel and how this can affect an individual’s quality of life. My aim is to share my specialist dietetic knowledge and give easy to follow, tailored advice to help improve a client’s symptoms, health and wellbeing.
I have a friendly, empathetic and professional manner which allows me to provide individualised evidence based dietary modification treatment plans to treat a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, whilst ensuring a balanced diet and preventing nutritional deficiencies.
